Circular Economy
MSIA provides a unique platform for industry leaders to showcase how organizations, through collaboration across Research & Development, Manufacturing, and Recycling Facilities, are driving sustainable business practices. This align with the global goals of Circular Economy where products and services are designed in a way that allowed reused, either in the biological or technical cycles.
Key sharing covering 3 stages of framework
- Production – Lower use of non renewables in production or
resource efficiency including using recycled materials
- Utilization – Energy-efficient use of products, services and workplace.
- Disposal – Products at the end of their life cycle; Reuse, recycle and transform into valuable waste products.

TRACK 2 – RESPONSIBLE COMPANY – SOCIAL IMPACT & RBA
Responsible Company Social impact and RBA track is an initiative to promote responsible business practices globally. Founded in 2004, the RBA is the world’s largest industry coalition dedicated to responsible business conduct in global supply chains. It focuses on improving social, environmental, and ethical conditions across various industries, including electronics.
Social Impact
The RBA’s social impact initiatives aim to support the rights and well-being of workers and communities affected by global supply chains. Members commit to a common Code of Conduct and utilize various RBA training and assessment tools to ensure continuous improvement. These tools help identify and mitigate social, environmental, and ethical risks in supply chains.
Environmental sustainability
Environmental sustainability is a core component of the RBA’s mission. The RBA develops strategies and tools to measure environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and build industry capacity. The Environmental Sustainability Workgroup (ESWG) collaborates with members to address pressing environmental issues and drive improvements throughout supply chains.
